Advanced Pre-Engineering (PLTW)

Description

  • Design and build distinctive creations using digital circuits, gaming software, model structures, remote control machines and robots.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art engineering equipment and current software, including 3D printers.
  • Work with a team to research and solve a real-world challenge, build a prototype and present your solution to industry leaders.

College Credit

All Tulsa Tech students (high school and adult) may have the opportunity to receive college credit upon completion of their program. Our College Relations office will work with students regarding the benefits of Prior Learning Assessments (PLA) toward an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or a technical college certificate at area colleges.

Who Can Attend?

High School Students

Prerequisites

Applicants who have completed Geometry and Algebra II with a C or better will receive priority admissions to the STEM Academy. At the time of selection 1st semester Geometry and Algebra II grades will be evaluated by Admissions. STEM Academy staff will verify 2nd semester Geometry and Algebra II grades prior to the start of school.
