Tulsa Tech was founded in 1965 as part of Tulsa Public Schools, formed as an independent school district in 1973, ultimately growing and expanding to be the largest technology center in Oklahoma’s esteemed CareerTech system.
Tulsa Tech offers a wide range of opportunities to prepare students for success in a career and continues to be a beacon of economic and workforce development.
With six campus locations strategically positioned throughout the Tulsa metropolitan area, Tulsa Tech ensures accessibility and convenience for learners of all ages and various backgrounds. The institution’s commitment to hands-on, experiential learning fosters a dynamic educational environment, where students acquire practical skills that align with current industry demands.
By forging strong partnerships with local and regional businesses across industries, Tulsa Tech ensures that curriculum remains up-to-date and industry-relevant, enhancing the employability of graduates.
Tuition is free for public, private and home-schooled high school students with low-cost tuition for adult learners. Morning, afternoon, evening, and all-day classes are available to fit any student’s schedule.
But that’s not the full story, Tulsa Tech also provides opportunities for adults already in the workforce to enhance skills, earn certifications and build upon their careers. These shorter-term classes provide flexibility for those balancing education with work and other commitments.
Additionally, we collaborate with local and regional businesses across many industries to provide customized training solutions tailored to meet the specific workforce needs of employers. Training can be conducted on-site at businesses or at a Tulsa Tech campus.
