Daytime Classes:
Mon-Fri: 7:45 A.M. - 2:30 P.M.
Day Class Starts: July and October
Evening Classes:
Mon-Thur: 3:30 - 10:00 P.M.
Eve Class Starts: January
All Clinical hours:
Mon-Fri: 6:30 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. (including daytime and evening classes)
Both the daytime and the evening programs are controlled-entry with varying start dates

The surgical technology certification exam is sponsored by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
Those who pass the certification exam may use the credential Certified Surgical Technologist (CST™).
In order to successfully complete the program, students must sit for the CST Certification exam and during clinical rotations achieve a minimum of 120 cases in the first and second scrub role.

- Maintain a grade of "B" or better in each transcript course
- Pass a criminal background check
- Provide verification of immunizations through vaccination records
- Hold current American Heart Association CPR for Healthcare provider card

College Credit
College Credit
All Tulsa Tech students (high school and adult) may have the opportunity to receive college credit upon completion of their program. Our College Relations office will work with students regarding the benefits of Prior Learning Assessments (PLA) toward an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or a technical college certificate at area colleges.
