In order to complete the academic program, students must complete all curriculum hours by the program end date. All hours must be face to face and may occur in the classroom, laboratory, or at other locations as assigned. Hours completed outside of the scheduled class time will be supervised, documented, and recorded within the district attendance system.

College Credit
College Credit
All Tulsa Tech students (high school and adult) may have the opportunity to receive college credit upon completion of their program. Our College Relations office will work with students regarding the benefits of Prior Learning Assessments (PLA) toward an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or a technical college certificate at area colleges.

Technician licensing exams are aligned with the Oklahoma Department of Labor. Guidelines and qualifications to test are indicated on the following website for Alarm, Locksmith, and Fire Sprinkler Industry Act and Administrative Rules. Any person applying for licensure must be at least 18 years of age and meet the verification criteria indicated by the Oklahoma Department of Labor. Online registration fees may apply.
