There is a saying in life that you miss 100 percent of the chances that you do not take. For Video Production student Brady Rustan, he made sure to take advantage of every chance.
Opportunity. Iconic American author F. Scott Fitzgerald once wrote, "Our lives are defined by opportunities. Even the ones we miss.” For Tulsa Tech graduate Mackenzie Oestereich, one opportunity made all the difference. SkillsUSA, a CareerTech Student Organization (CTSO), shaped her path. The organization is one of six available to Tulsa Tech students, empowering them to build leadership skills and connect with like-minded peers.
At 69 years young, Sandra Holloway is proving that age is no barrier to pursuing your passions. A student in the Carpentry program, Holloway is diving into her classes with enthusiasm. She’s dedicating three hours a day, five days a week to mastering carpentry—a dream she’s cherished since high school.
